Zubby Michael, a Nollywood actor, has come under fire for a recent post he made and for not openly expressing his grief at the death of his late colleague Junior Pope.
Recall that a few days earlier, a boat accident in Asaba claimed the lives of Junior Pope and many members of his crew.
In contrast to other of his Nollywood colleagues, Zubby Michael seemed carefree and content with his life as he spent time on social media.
A recent video of him strolling magnificently was posted on his Instagram page with the remark, “God past them.”
Online users descended upon the comment area, denouncing him for not expressing public sorrow for his deceased pal, who was formerly his closest confidant.
Some users implied that the two had a bad relationship, and a look at Zubby’s list of followers showed that they had ceased following one another on Instagram.
Zubby’s responses “You were his best man on his wedding day,” Amakaz Empire wrote in response to Michael’s rejection of Junior Pope’s death. What happened, nah?
“Sir, you’re not saying anything about Jnr Pope oo, you can’t tell me is sadness at least can’t you pretend even if you don’t want to,” expressed Ab Star Update.
“I appreciate ur position, but at least for last respect u for only posting for narrative boss,” wrote Everything Successful.
According to Haji Nelson, “He is not following JP, so I think they may have had problems in the past, but it doesn’t mean he can’t send his condolences or grieve for him.”
Chizubor Slm said, “Zubby, try wishing me luck. Granted, everyone grieves differently, but RIP is still required. Gee, stop the activities.
As Chinyere Reginald pointed out: “Honor. No day form, good bye.
“Zubby is proud,” stated Zizi Kids Store. Keep in mind that we are all pencils in His hands. Nigga, have humility.
“They’re not in good time if you verify that they’re not even following each other,” said Funny Mouth.
