Reacting to the post, Yvonne admitted that she was startled when she first saw her name mentioned alongside the word “Ashawo”

“I just woke up, picked up my phone, and this is what I saw. Immediately, I saw my name and saw ‘ashawo,’ sleep cleared from my eyes. I thought, ‘I don commit again.’ Thanks for the review. Thinline is an all-round beautiful story; make it a date,” she responded with a mix of humor and professionalism.

Fans have praised her humorous response, praising her abilities to promote the film while handling criticism with poise.

It is important to note that Thinline encountered some opposition and that public perceptions upon its release conflicted with Funke Akindele’s “Everybody Loves Jenifa.”
