A cell phone purportedly given to several pupils in Lagos public schools was made public by a Nigerian student attending a Lagos State school.

The phone was shown with the Lagos State emblem prominently displayed on the screen in a recently circulated video on the internet.

When the phone was turned around, the Lagos State logo and the student’s name, Toyin, were visible on the rear.

Social media users have taken notice of the cell phone footage.

One user reported that they are unable to use Facebook, Instagram, WhatsApp, TikTok, or games on the phone.
