Nollywood actor and director Tobi Makinde has showered his boss Funke Akindele with adulation after her box office triumph.
Kemi Filani claims that Funke Akindele, being the first Nollywood movie to earn a billion naira in such a short period of time, shattered records for the Nigerian film industry.
One billion, sixty million, seven hundred and eleven thousand, and four hundred and ninety-one dollars is the fortune that Funke Akindele accumulated.
The Wikipedia Nollywood grossing table shows that Funke Akindele’s films, A Tribe Called Judah, Battle On Buka Street, and Omo Ghetto The Saga, are now the highest-earning Nollywood films of all time.
On his Instagram page thereafter, Tobi, one of the movie’s filmmakers, complimented her on being an Amazon. He said that the director had permanently etched her name on a rock.
She is proof, he continued, that you can be anything you want to be and achieve greatness as long as you prioritize God and have a strong will.
