“You should pay me because your song used my “Don’t play” line.” Wizkid is told by VeryDarkMan

VeryDarkMan, a controversial campaigner, has stated that he plans to sue Wizkid for money after the musician used his “don’t play” line in his song “Diamond.”

In a video he released, he chastised Nigerians for failing to notify him sooner that the musician had stolen his catchphrase.

To be clear, he claimed to have already trademarked the term and to have a good chance of winning if he brings Wizkid to court.

He acknowledged that he is not pressuring Wizkid to send him money, but he will be grateful if he does, as he concluded the video by thanking Wizkid for utilizing his line.
