She claimed that since she had a sore throat, she ought to be a commentator at a football event.
Yemi Alade pleaded with the CAF to give her a call back after her performance at the opening ceremony of the 2023 African Cup of Nations (AFCON) in Côte d’Ivoire. This time, she’ll be a commentator showcasing her newly discovered skills rather than singing.
