An old man, talking about how the so-called Yahoo boys, internet scammers, are the reason why the country’s economy is growing now.
In a now-viral video, an old man claimed that Yahoo boys are the reason Nigeria’s economy is still growing.
He made reference to a number of establishments, including pricey restaurants and hotels, and contended that because fraudsters frequent patronize these locations, there is a greater release and flow of money throughout the economy.
The old man said that since there are no viable alternatives for these young people to pursue, such work, there is no reason for the government to restrict Yahoo.
