Drama breaks out when a single mother, who had been dating her partner Chris for ten years, asks him to marry her on his birthday with the assistance of her kids.
The single mother and her partner, Chris, were seen wearing matching shirts with the words “King” and “Queen” written on them in a video that went viral on social media.
When the kids’ clothing were lined up, they said, “Uncle Chris, A.K.A. Dad, will you marry mummy?”
Unfortunately, Chris’s response was less enthusiastic, therefore the outcome did not seem favorable. He looked away, shook his head, and scratched at his head.
Despite the uncomfortable response, the woman continued to tell him how she felt, talking about their shared child, their ten-year journey together, and her intense love for him.
She was accompanied by her friends and family at the celebration as she spoke, holding a ring in her hand.
She uttered, “I want to know if he’ll spend the rest of his life with me.”
The single mother shared her feelings with the man, who found it difficult to look her in the eye and kept scratching his head without answering.
“As an African man, I have to do things the appropriate way,” he finally said.
