Toke Makinwa, a controversial podcaster, discusses why she no longer finds cheating in a marriage or relationship to be an absolute deal breaker.
Toke Makinwa, who accused her ex-husband Maje Ayida of being a serial cheater, discussed her views on infidelity over time in a podcast that was published on Thursday.
She said that as she grew older, she realized that women can find it simpler to cheat, and that self-control is often the main motivator for not doing so.
According to her
Many women, in my opinion, need to resist the stigma. It’s acceptable for the man to cheat on me if I do.
“I think I’ve reached a point in my life when the shameless can no longer be shamed.” I will respect you even if I cheat tomorrow and you decide to go. Please don’t use my victory as a cheater to make fun of me if you wish to stay.
To be completely honest, I don’t see infidelity to be a deal breaker anymore. It used to be that I could never have said these things when I was younger. If he had cheated, I would have told him to go back out on the streets.
“As I got older, I discovered that women and men both cheat. Women are more likely to cheat; self control is what keeps us from doing it. I may be the first to cheat on you, which is why I’m not quick to judge you. Please pardon me as I have pardoned you.
