The Nigerian actress and director Funke Akindele has spoken out about her split with JJC Skillz.
After Funke Akindele’s film “A Tribe Called Judah” debuted, the news has been covering her for weeks. She has accomplished a great deal in her life, but she has also had her fair share of setbacks, including two unsuccessful marriages.
Joyce and Funke Akindele recently discussed these “failures” and the reasons Funke Akindele doesn’t think they are failures on Wazobia.
As stated by Funke Akindele:
“You can’t succeed if you never fail. You must not give up. Similar to when a young infant is first learning to walk, they will move slowly and then fall off. It is therefore normal for you to fall, but all you need to do is get back up.
Failure, difficulties, and barriers are all seen by me as inevitable aspects of life. Mom reared me in this manner. According to my mother, you cannot succeed if you do not fall or fail. Thus, you must continue. Observe that I am not even aware of the mistakes.
I don’t think of it as a failure, but if you ask me now, tell me about one. In terms of my marriage, I simply accept things as they happen. My emotional well-being is crucial. My career is really essential to me, sweetie. I have to make an impression. I have to empower a lot of individuals. I have to motivate the youth that are out there. For the sake of my siblings and kids, I must remain strong. For what reason am I here? My head is high because I have a mission. Yes, I weep and I break down, but all I do is look in the mirror and tell myself to “keep moving” when I stop crying.
