Social media users tagged the FBI and police, alleging it was Wizkid’s stolen phone, after a Nigerian guy posted on social media to ask for assistance unlocking his iPhone 15 Pro Max.
The man said in a message on his page on the well-known social networking site X (previously Twitter) that he had become inebriated and had forgotten his phone’s password, so he sought assistance in unlocking it so he could view the data.
He wrote…..
“Please, who knows how to unlock an iPhone 15 Pro Max? I got drunk at Nativeland and forgot my passcode. 😅🌚.”
Many social media users tagged Wizkid, the FBI, and the Nigerian police in the post he uploaded, suggesting that the phone may be the one Wizkid is presently searching for after it was purportedly stolen.
He added a disclaimer after seeing the comment……..
“Make una stop tagging the police, this is my phone, I only forgot my passcode because I was drunk at Nativeland.”
Hours after rumors circulated that Wizkid had misplaced his phone, this occurred.
Concerned people flocked to the comments area to express their opinions as the post gained popularity online.
