An Ivorian guy who gained notoriety after being seen on tape approaching a woman too closely during an AFON match finally talks to the woman and expresses regret to his wife and children for his behavior.
The man, only identified by Anselme Santos, has apologized to his spouse and kids on social media for the extensively circulated video of him.
In the video, he can be seen speaking in a Senegalese woman’s ear while leaning quite close to her. He leaned in closer, causing the woman to back off somewhat, but it didn’t deter him.
Lip readers claimed he was asking for the woman’s phone number.
Anselme stated:
“I said, ‘give me your number,’ to her. But she was unwilling to. I didn’t press for it, therefore. I want to use this chance to apologize to the woman, my wife, and my kids.
