A friend of Ubi Franklin has been accused by controversial socialite VeryDarkMan of scamming an upcoming artist using Davido’s identity.
In a video posted to VeryDarkMan’s page, he said that he had contacted Ubi Franklin to help an upcoming musician and his manager secure a decent feature for his music.
VDM claims that Ubi Franklin requested that the manager deliver him N2 million to demonstrate their commitment, along with his upcoming artist.
In addition, he requested that they provide an additional N5 million so that he could negotiate a low price for the feature with the upcoming musician on their behalf.
After receiving N10.5 million from the upcoming artist, Ubi Franklin reportedly further pledged to assist the artist in obtaining a US visa to see the Afrobeat artist.
