Verydarkman gives shocking update on NGO account.

After claiming that N180 million was taken from his non-profit account due to a hack, activist Martins Otse, also known as VeryDarkMan (VDM), has come under fire.

In a video posted on Instagram on Friday, Otse stated that only N20 million remained after the money was transferred to an unidentified account.

Verydarkman just opened an NGO account with the goal of assisting public secondary schools by way of the NYSC program.

The activist claims that the stolen funds came from donations made to his non-governmental organization, the Martins Vincent Osei Initiative, which he founded in October, and which raised over N35 million in only a few hours after its start, with music producer Don Jazzy contributing an additional N100 million.

In a startling development, Verydarkman disclosed that hackers had gained access to his NGO account.

Verydarkman also claims that since the incident, he has not been himself and disclosed that one suspect has been taken into custody in relation to the hacking.

“I haven’t been myself for the past few days, and it hasn’t been easy because the NGO was hacked. One suspect has been taken into custody,” he said.
