Uche Ogbodo takes a break to counsel housewives to get employment in order to leave abusive relationships.

Uche Ogbodo, a philanthropist and actress from Nigeria, has taken time out of her career to counsel housewives to find employment in order to escape abusive marriages.

It was only recently that the married actor gained notoriety for her thoughts on the plantain saga.

She recently wrote a letter addressed specifically to women who stay in violent relationships because they are dependant on the male.

In order for them to be able to comfortably support themselves and their children in 2024, Uche Ogbodo begs them to take action.

According to her:

“To the Women, kindly search for employment or a trade in 2024, Because you are completely dependent on your husband, you cannot continue to suffer.
Fear of starvation or childrearing is insufficient justification for remaining in an abusive marriage.
