Actress Uche Ogbodo, from Nigeria, has shared her thoughts on the ongoing plantain controversy sweeping the internet.
Remember how Gistreel previously featured a man who exposed his father for pressuring his mother, who had recently lost her father, to fry plantains for him?
Since then, a lot of online users have criticized the man for showing no compassion for his grieving spouse.
Uche Ugbodo, who appears to be the exception, said that it wouldn’t have been a huge concern if the wife had simply prepared dinner for him.
She asserts that since the grandfather has already passed away, the surviving spouse is entitled to plantains that have been fried by his wife.
Despite attempts from her Nollywood colleagues to convince her otherwise, she is adamant and stands by her word.
