Diligent After Yul Edochie dragged his first wife, May Edochie, Nollywood actor Uche Maduagwu took fire at his colleague.
Uche Maduagwu responded to this by criticizing Yul for not knowing Igbo culture and implying that his haste in posting such things on social media was proof of his ignorance.
He added that Yul Edochie didn’t know what to believe in spirituality.
Uche questioned Yul about his concerns about May Edochie removing his last name before the divorce was finalized.
According to him, even if a woman played a significant role in her ex-husband’s success, she is not legally required to give up her last name.
“Even the gods and Sir PETE EDOCHIE still do not understand why you gave Judy Belle,” he said. “Therefore, you are ignorant of our beautiful #IGBO CULTURE and the Christian Marital Values that led you to give Judy Belle, as well as of our beautiful #IGBO CULTURE.” You rushed to social media to post that you do not understand why Queen May and her family have not returned the #BRIDE PRICE you paid. Second, only a man who is spiritually confused, like in the case of Nigeria, would be concerned about his wife revealing his identity when a divorce never occurs, even if it does, she is not legally required to remove it, particularly if she helped her husband succeed. Dear YUL, please stop demeaning Sir PETE’s legacy with your spiritual ignorance.
