To the joy of his admirers, Nigerian musician Timi Dakolo has revealed how he met his wife, Busola Dakolo.
In the Nigerian entertainment industry, Timi and Busola, who have been married for 12 years, are regarded as a formidable couple, and many people find their beautiful bond admirable.
Timi recently told Pulse in an interview that he met his wife at church. He ensured that their friendship developed into a romantic partnership once they became friends.
The artist known for “Iyawo Mi” shared that he was driving the car he won from a music talent show at that time. Timi Dakolo won the first season of Idols West Africa in 2007. The prize was a Picanto, which he used to take his then-girlfriend, Busola, to and from her places.
Busola became uncomfortable and eventually asked the 43-year-old to quit parking in front of her Zenith Bank office. Many others were interested in his humorous narrative, which sparked a range of responses on the internet.
