A few days ago, Carter Efe posted a clip of his song “Babypiano” to his Instagram page. In it, he can be heard reciting the Nigerian national anthem as well as a children’s rhyme.
The content producer faced harsh criticism for his new song from internet users.
A few internet users claimed that Carter Efe was going to damage Afrobeat—which Fela founded—for everybody.
Due to the enormous negative response he received after publishing the teaser, Carter Efe has now announced that he would not be releasing his new track.
