Netizens were urged by Nigerian artist Simisola Kosoko, also known as Simi, to give their firstborn children a vacation.
She revealed this to the public on the microblogging site X, where she expressed her support for firstborn kids who feel neglected by their families.
The musician feels that a lot of firstborns are forced to shoulder an excessive amount of responsibility, which can be exhausting at times.
Even though she is the last child in her own family, she has chosen to stand up on their behalf since she knows that many of them do not speak up.
This is what her tweet says:
“You all must allow your newborns to breathe.” They don’t have to shoulder everyone’s burden just because they arrived first. Many of them no longer even like you since you give them terrible panic attacks when you text them. All they can do is avoid saying it. Give them room to breathe.
First-born sefs should also learn how to establish limits and say no. You too are worthy of peace.
