Well-known actor Dave Ogbeni tells the story of Junior Pope’s desire to speak with the media about a problem that was weighing on him prior to his tragic death.
The Nollywood actor stated that Junior Pope had informed him he wanted to bring up a matter that was slowly hurting him within during their conversation over a few bottles of alcohol prior to the unfortunate tragedy.
He claimed that he had prevented Junior Pope from going public and informing blogs about the problem.
When the time is appropriate, Dave Ogbeni said he will be the one to share the tale.
He said:
“Jnr Pope and I were drinking together the day before the boat incident after watching the Arsenal vs. Bayern Munich game,” Dave added. It’s probably time for me to share my story with the blogosphere. I remarked, “Bro, it hasn’t come to that; we can resolve things privately.” With a questioning expression in his eyes, he asked, “Since December?” You’re telling me not to inform anyone that I’m slowly dying? You will be the one to share my story with the world if I die, and He died the next day. When the time comes, I will tell the world to hear”
