Nigerian singer Portable was beaten by uninvited guests in his home after it was rumored that he failed to show up for a paid performance.
On his Instagram account, Portable posted a video showing some people breaking into his residence and fighting.
Amid the chaos, the musician could be heard screaming, wanting to know why he had been hit in the face.
Another video showed Portable’s swollen face after a hit.
He also shared a photo of a medical report on social media, in which he acknowledged being in excruciating agony and said he was going to the hospital.
He declared that his enemies had given up on him and thanked his Maker for keeping him safe.
“Omo ologo surrendered by my foes,” he said. Thank God, I’m covered. These individuals hurt me a lot, but thank God, man is not God. I’m in agony as I travel to the hospital.
