Following the online revelation of famed comedian Carter Efe’s true age, Nigerians have been reacting furiously.
The incident began when well-known musician and content producer Carter Efe unexpectedly lost control of himself and started screaming in front of the crowd after realizing he was meant to perform with Berri Tiga.
He refused to perform, citing Berri Tiga’s previous online harassment as justification. He questioned why someone who had argued with him online would wish to become his offline buddy.
“They say I give person 5%, the useless boy comes backstage, e say e wan follow me perform,” said Carter Efe during his performance. You follow me when I argue online, but you don’t follow me when we hang out offline. Where am I supposed to be? If it were simple, e could have another hit song. E dey go crazy, God chastise Berri Tiga.
Quick comments from online users suggested that his immature response revealed his actual age. They claimed that his immature reaction made his age seem much more plausible.
