Oluwadolarz, a Nigerian comedian, responded to Yhemolee’s critique of his colleague Nasboi’s hit song, Umbrella.
Gistreel revealed that Yhemolee made fun of Nasboi’s decision to transition from comedy to music in a recent interview on IsbeaU’s “Curiosity Made Me Ask” program.
The nightlife king claimed that he was ashamed to witness a skit creator perform the Nasboi tune “Umbrella,” which features Wande Coal.
Yhemolee, however, apologized and said he didn’t know that Nasboi was a singer before he became a comedian.
He went on to say that the podcast’s objective was to joke about with Isbaeu, the host.
Oluwadolarz questioned why switching from music to skit creating is cool but not acceptable the other way around, notwithstanding Yhemolee’s apology.
He went on to say that it is time to stop showing disrespect for those who create skits.
“When an artist creates a skit, it’s fun, but when it goes the other way, it’s a problem. Omo, you guys need to stop being so disrespectful,” he wrote.
