Native Doctors from Anambra link Junior Pope’s death to a 20-year-old film

In a recent Facebook post, the user states that local doctors in Anambra have disclosed that Junior Pope’s death in the river was caused by the river’s animosity toward him over a movie they worked on twenty years ago.

A few hours after it was announced that Nollywood actor Junior Pope had drowned, this post appeared online.

Actor, Junior Pope

The user asserted in the linked post that the actor’s incident may have happened as a result of their inability to placate the river deity, which infuriated the river.

“The river is unhappy with Junior Pope because of the movie he shot 20 years ago titled ‘ARA NWANYI ASABA,” according to the ceremonial performance, according to the statement.

“They said that the river is the ‘ARA NWANYI ASABA,’ and that because they were upset with the filmmakers during the filming, the river’s wrath was exposed.”

“It’s better if you stop acting and stay away from the ocean if you know you were in this movie.”

“Me too, I vow I should not film a movie that will enrage spirits. Remember that spirits remember things from 20 years ago.

And as a result, a body has been taken from the river till two cows—a male and a female—are brought. I mentioned there was a motive for this.

Concerned people flocked to the post’s comment area to voice their opinions in response to the assertion.
