In honor of her 33rd birthday, Nollywood actress Nancy Isime has shown her new home.
In a touching post on her Instagram page on Tuesday, the actress reflected on her journey from sharing an unfinished building with her father to now owning a home.
Isime realized a lifetime ambition in December 2022 when she gave her father the keys to a finished, completely equipped home.
The actress bought her ideal home in 2023, marking yet another accomplishment.
“It’s 33 now!
Which blessing from the Lord can I refuse? Not at all.
I can still clearly recall sitting in the incomplete building that would eventually become our new home when I was around thirteen years old. The only doors and windows were those that guarded the sleeping quarters. The rest of it was just carcass.
There were no doors, windows, ceilings, flooring, or running water—just our cherished well, which gave us water for everything, including drinking.
I recall sitting there one day and declaring, “I’m going to have a nice house, but I’m going to help Daddy realize his lifelong dream of having a fully equipped house before I purchase even a little plot of land.
On December 18, 2022, I finally handed my father the keys to his ideal house, which was finished and furnished.
I was given the documents and keys of my ideal house on December 15, 2023.
“I didn’t even think that was going to be a possibility in my life three months prior to today,” she wrote.
One of the most gifted actors in Nollywood, Nancy Isime has starred in a number of popular films, such as Kambili, Blood Sisters, and Everybody Loves Jennifer.
