“My dad didn’t construct any mansion,” the lady says tearfully as she arrives at her father’s rural home.

A woman made the decision to take part in the viral practice of Igbos celebrating Christmas and New Year’s Eve by posting a video of her father’s land.

But in contrast to those who came before her, the woman going by the handle @giftyluv84 decided to highlight her father’s rural home instead of sticking to the norm of showing off a mansion.

She joked in her post that her father had neglected to construct a mansion in the village.

“POV: My dad forgot to build a mansion in the village,” the writer stated.

Many have praised her bravery for revealing the modest home of her family and emphasized that what important are the memories and love a house bears, not its size or grandeur.
