A young Nigerian man going by the handle @Darkbreedd has opened up about his heartbreaking experience of discovering that his ex-girlfriend was unfaithful to him while actively assisting with his job search.
The man gave a moving narrative of how they had been dating since their college years and how his girlfriend—who had been diagnosed with lupus—had a big influence on his life.
The girlfriend had taken a proactive role in helping him find software engineering internships and jobs during his 300 level days.
The startling realization, though, came when he realized that his girlfriend was having an extramarital affair with a doctor, all the while believing that their bond was built on commitment and sacrifice.
The doctor claimed to be hiding his relationship status from his fiancée by calling her a “close friend.”
The young man acknowledged that he was perplexed by the circumstances and emphasized how ironic it was that the autoimmune disease sufferer was having an affair.
He revealed how the doctor’s fiancée eventually found out about the affair, which caused a separation and devastated @Darkbreedd’s girlfriend.
