The logistics manager for Nigerian musician Davido, Israel DMW, has blasted those who make fun of his boss for not taking home a Grammy.
The fact that Davido, along with other Nigerian artists, lost all three of his Grammy nominations is no longer news, and some Nigerians have been making fun of him nonstop as a result.
Trolls who made fun of the musician were chastised by Israel DMW, who continued to laud his boss despite his loss.
He claims that anyone who makes fun of him is merely making fun of themselves and that Davido’s name was still utilized for publicity even after he lost.
He advised haters to consider whether they will still be superior to the Afrobeat star in 20 years.
He felt that the previous recipients never truly deserved it.
“If you believe you’re ridiculing oga, at an already well-planned event, where oga’s name had to be utilized to be used as PR, you’re utterly mocking yourself,” he said. Consider your life in the next 20 years and consider whether you will be superior to oga in any manner. If any previous recipient of this honor ever deserved it, consider their life.
