In the midst of marital problems, Nigerian musician Harrison Tare Okiri, better known by his stage as Harrysong, has finally spoken out and appealed to the public.
According to a Nigerian blogger who published a purported conversation in which Harrysong asked his wife to get an abortion because they were only having girls.
In addition, he instructed her to prepare his grandmother’s abortion meal with the N100K he handed her.
He said that they were better than her when his wife accused him of having other side women in a later conversation.
Harrysong stated he has decided to talk to his fans and well-wishers after giving it a lot of thought and discussing it with his family. He has subsequently made his official Instagram account private.
In light of the marital issues he and his wife are experiencing, he made a public appeal for people to respect his family’s privacy during this difficult time.
“After much thought and deliberation with my family, I have decided to share with my fans and well-wishers that, although my wife and I are going through a difficult time right now due to the rumors circulating on social media about our marital woes, I am sincerely asking the public to respect my family’s privacy during this time and to kindly request for your utmost understanding, please,” he said.
