“In excruciating pain,” Portable posts images of himself in a hospital bed and laments his likely premature demise.

Nigerian musician, rapper, and composer Habeeb Okikiola, better known by his stage name Portable, has shared pictures and words with his followers from his hospital bed, asking for prayers.

The Nigerian singer was seen reclining on a hospital bed in a recent image that was shared publicly on his Instagram page. The image included a brief message.

“I simply need your prayers, I’m in so much pain right now,” the note said. I wish not to pass away too soon.

“Why do they want me to fall?” he asked again. You will pass away young if you spoil me for the people who love me. Haters all around me, and no one but God could protect me. Save your soul, please.

A video of the singer’s bandaged leg—which was reportedly caused by an injury he had in a recent altercation with unidentified individuals—followed the post.

“Thank God, man is not God, evil people want to see me collapse,” said the caption for the video.
