In a MrBeast YouTube video, Cristiano Ronaldo lost a football shooting challenge to a fan, costing him a $1 million reward.
The 39-year-old captain of Al Nassr took part in the contest for content creators while sporting an Al Nassr shirt with the word “MrBeast” personalized on the back.
In a challenge to strike three targets put in the goal, his opponent, Khalid, a MrBeast channel subscriber and self-described Ronaldo superfan, faced off against the football legend.
Ronaldo was referred to as “the ultimate football phenomenon,” but he was unable to hit any targets in his tries.
Khalid, meanwhile, took advantage of the situation and hit the targets three times on his fifth try to win the $1 million reward.
Ronaldo, on the other hand, showed excellent sportsmanship by supporting Khalid during the challenge and even joining him in celebration after he won.
Ronaldo embraced the joyful fan and remarked, “My friend, I’m extremely proud of you.”
With 100 million viewers, the challenge marked yet another significant partnership between Ronaldo and MrBeast, who had previously made an appearance as a guest on Ronaldo’s YouTube channel.
