Felix Duke, the president of Creative Industry Group (CIG), charges Suzanne Emma, the ex-wife of well-known actor Emeka Ike, of lying to him about problems in their union.
Duke made this revelation in response to the current uproar around the dissolution of the Nollywood actor’s marriage in a post on his official Instagram page.
Since Emeka and he were close friends before to his marriage, he mentioned that he had been involved in attempts to address the marital crisis from the start.
Before the former couple appeared in court, Duke set them up with a meeting at a hotel in Ogudu, Lagos State’s Kosofe Local Government Area.
Although Suzanne Emma pretended throughout the meeting that everything was alright, Duke disclosed that the pair relapsed into a crisis following her departure. He made it clear that all of his attempts to make things right between them had been unsuccessful since Emma had already decided to dissolve the marriage for reasons that were only known to herself.
Felix Duke discusses his relationship with Emeka Ike and Suzanne Emma, his ex-wife. “I was there when Emma brought Emeka to court,” he says. Emeka and I attended court together. Emeka genuinely cared for this woman, but I think she never appreciated him as much as he did. I’ve been friends with Emeka since before he even met Emma.
He called me to tell me that it had been so many years since he had met Emma. He brought Emma over and introduced her to me, saying, “There’s this girl I met and I would like you to meet her.” Emeka attended my marriage for a long time, and I was present at their marriage when they welcomed Michael, their first kid.
“I can explain Emeka’s experiences to you. After Emma left him, he was depressed and cried every day. I give him a pet and occasionally cry with him when he’s upset.
We continued to pray together, and I promised him that one day he would find love. He questioned whether I was certain he would, to which I replied that he would.
“I accompanied Emeka to court, where the judge gave two of them instructions to leave the chamber and talk to see if they could work things out. If not, they were to return, at which point he gave his ruling.
“After the judge informed them of this, Emeka Ike, his wife, and I left the room, and Emeka knelt down to plead in front of me, i even joined him to beg her but she refused.
Speaking on the claims that the ex-wife lost property:
Emma had already left the marriage, so she left the school to run down. Emeka was unaware that she was no longer married. Emeka continued to believe that Emma was his wife,” he remarked.
Michael addressed the actions of Emeka Ike’s son:
Felix stated he will go on social media to insult his father.” He’s going to go plead his father tomorrow. How on earth is he going to take back all the stupid things he said on social media already?
“After all these, he expects his father to pardon him and accept him back? He was pressured by his mother to go disparage his father. This demonstrates Emma’s shortcomings as a woman. Who would wish to harm her son in this way?
Shan George came under fire for his support of Emma:
Asking if she had ever gone to the school or the residence of Emeka Ike and his wife in Magodo. How could she be certain that Emma had done Emeka no harm?
“How can someone who is ignorant of the entire story just wake up and start talking because she wants to be popular?”
