David Adeleke, better known as Davido, is a Nigerian music superstar who has stated that he does not believe cannabis, sometimes known as “weed,” to be a hard drug.
Davido was up about his personal cannabis use while addressing criticism of his initiatives to combat drug abuse on The Morning Hustle program.
The artist revealed that his foundation will assist programs to fight drug usage, particularly among young people, and donate to orphanages.
“This year, I’m contributing to the fight against youth drug misuse,” he stated. I do not consider marijuana to be a hard drug. I smoke marijuana, but I don’t consider it a drug, other people claim.
“A lot of individuals have been going through a lot recently,” Davido continued, highlighting the rising problem of addiction. Addiction to drugs is on the rise. In order to assist them in quitting, I would like to donate to that cause.
