“I feel bad for the bride,” is how some react when the groom insists on bringing his mother to the wedding.

Online controversy has been sparked by a video showing a Nigerian husband joyfully dancing with his mother as he makes his wedding entrance.

The bride and groom were flanked by friends and family in the video that @mc_nomicable posted.

As the bridegroom and the mother’s loved ones joined in the celebration, the air was charged with happiness and affection.

Meaning??? stated Nkechi.xx. Who is your wife going to enter with now?

“I love the joy in her, maybe her husband is late and he just wants to put a smile on her face, our mothers gold,” said @beckykelvin4.

“What is wrong with him making an entrance with his mum..it’s so beautiful,” Mummy Zara remarked.

“But that’s not done traditionally,” RichardDiva remarked. Only the bride is permitted entry.

In response, Faith Ekwonwa said, “I don’t know why, but I feel bad for her.”

“The mother will be involved in everything in that new marriage,” stated Gwen from Lagos.
