“Hope restored”: A poor girl sobs as the governor offers her a full scholarship.

The governor of Trans Nzoia, George Natembeya, has awarded a full scholarship to a little girl who recently took the Milimani Botwa Primary School 2023 Kenya Certificate of Primary Education (KCPE) exams.

Similar to Nigeria’s common admission exam, Kenyan pupils must pass the Kenya Certificate of Primary Education (KCPE) in order to be eligible to enter secondary school.

This historic event was marked for the little girl Agnes Nasimiyu not only by academic achievement but also by an unanticipated chance that could change her future.

Coming from a poor family, Nasimiyu was overcome with happiness when she found out that Governor Natembeya had extended a full scholarship offer to her.

Thanks to the kind scholarship, Nasimiyu will be able to attend Bunyore Girl’s High School for her whole four years of school without having to worry about financial limitations, which have frequently prevented girls from similar situations from pursuing their academic goals.

The governor’s decision to provide Nasimiyu assistance was prompted by her exceptional KCPE achievement, in which she achieved a remarkable score of 377.

Governor Natembeya was alerted to this extraordinary accomplishment and promptly acknowledged and rewarded her talent.

“I am so happy that I don’t know what more to say,” Nasimiyu remarked upon receiving the scholarship.
