Afrobeat musician Davido lost at the Grammy Awards, but popular skit creator OGB Recent said that the Headies were far superior.
Davido’s best chance of winning his first Grammy is to be nominated in three categories for the 66th annual Grammy Awards: “Timeless” for Best Global Music Album, “Feel” for Best Global Music Performance, and “Unavailable” for Best African Music Performance.
Sadly, the Los Angeles concert resulted in the Afrobeat sensation losing all three of his Grammy nominations.
OGBH Recently, the X platform called the Grammy Awards dishonest, questioning how Davido’s “Unavailable” lost to Tyla’s “Water.”
He went on to say that the Headies are superior to the Grammy Awards.
“Tyla Water’s victory over unavailable demonstrates how rotten the Grammy is; the Headies award should pass AM,” he said.
