Well-known Nollywood actor Gideon Okeke discusses his motivation for criticizing his coworker Jim Iyke.
The movie star allegedly pulled Jim Iyke while denouncing and accusing him of being fake.
He discussed why he had called out Jim Iyke in a recent post.
He claimed that he needed two stitches as a result of an accident he received while working on Jim Iyke’s production.
The healing of the wound, he said, had taken two months.
Citing Junior Pope’s experience earlier this year, Gideon Okeke continued to bemoan the lack of safety in production.
He wrote….
“For the benefit of clarity, For the benefit of My new employers,
My supporters, and the new year coming— Jnr Pope, is one death, too many, in this business. And that only happened this year, 2024.
Had I gotten anything more than these 2 stitches on the set of iim Iyke’s production, yall would still can me a fool I guess. It’s taken 3 whole Months to heal
from that and still I am committed to ensuring SAFETY, at the Nollywood work place Sometimes I’ve asked Myself, WHY WAS IT ME WHO GOT HURT?
I guess it’S so that NOBODY ELSE, gets to take one for the team. But jim ivke is running”
