The well-known singer Davido discusses his Grammy loss and says that just getting nominated was reason enough for him to feel good about himself.

Recall that the Afrobeats musician was not selected for three of the 66th Grammy Awards.

Speaking about the experience, he stated that being nominated alone makes him proud of his work and himself.

He conveyed to him the message from his father. He claimed that even though he had lost, his father had told him that he would always be remembered as a legend.

In an interview with Rolling Stone, he made this claim.

“Merely receiving a nomination makes me feel good about myself. Initially, all I want is for my song to be played on the radio once or twice; nonetheless, it’s incredible and entirely God’s doing that it has reached this level.

“No matter what happens, son, you are still a legend,” my father told me over the phone yesterday. He is a huge fan, so yes,” he remarked.
