May Edochie, the well-known actor Yul Edochie’s first wife who is now estranged, writes a heartfelt letter to herself in which she laments the hardships she had in 2023.
Undoubtedly, those online who have been following the conflicts that began when the actor married Judy Austin as his second wife are aware of the controversies surrounding the Edochie family.
May Edochie and her husband lost their first son, Kambilichukwu, in March 2023, while their marriage was in disarray.
As the earth finishes its round around the sun, May Edochie used Instagram to think back on the bad things that happened the year before.
She observed that the year had not been kind to her. May remembered how it had robbed her of her first son and left her completely heartbroken.
Her quote was as follows:
“Dear 2023, nobody knew what you were going to deliver when you became pregnant on January 1st. You handled me in the most disastrous ways possible. Too many hardships, bad luck, and worst of all, you took away my own flesh and blood, leaving me in the most terrible, hopeless, and disoriented position I could have ever imagined.
I was so overcome with questions that I almost gave up, but I could always hear the voice in my head saying, “Who am I to question God?”
I fought so hard and clung to God’s words, which demand that we give Him thanks in every circumstance, no matter how challenging it may be. I really thank you for bringing me into contact with so many wonderful people—my family, friends, strangers who became friends, and my virtual family. There are too many people to mention, but I just want everyone to know that I will always be grateful for the amazing amount of love and support that my family and I received during our darkest moments.
To put it another way, I’m thankful that God Almighty exists in my life and that man is not God.
I bid you adieu for all time in the year 2023 and welcome the new year 2024, singing my song and living a life of gratitude, forgiveness, and devotion to God.
I ask God to surround us with His unwavering love and provide us all blessings in His boundless generosity and mercy. In the name of Jesus, afflictions will never arise in our households. 🙏
