Davido claims, “I made a Frog chain because people on Twitter called me Frog because of my hoarse voice.”

Popular Nigerian artist David Adeleke, better known by his stage name Davido, served as the model for his pricey Frog necklace.

In an interview with GQ, the Afrobeats musician described this while flaunting his vast jewelry collection.

The singer, who was once made fun of for having a scratchy voice and being compared to a frog, made a positive turn around.

He cautioned people not to go overboard and to acquire jewels based on their budgets as he displayed his collection.

According to Davido, a piece of jewelry’s appeal is in how you wear it rather than just how much it costs.
