After Shallipopi, whose real name is Crown Uzama, left Dapper Music & Entertainment, the label has addressed the accusations.
This followed Shallipopi’s announcement that he was leaving the record label, which he blamed for mistrust, financial mismanagement, and infringement on artists’ rights.
The label addressed the accusations and reaffirmed its dedication to openness, justice, and honesty in its business practices in a thorough press release posted on Instagram.
According to the label, Shalipopi was permitted to renegotiate contracts with full legal assistance following the success of his debut album. New conditions were reached on October 28, 2024, which allow him to pursue other options while preserving a win-win collaboration.
Astonished by the accusations, Dapper Music asserts that it has produced transparent financial records and is fully assisting Shalipopi’s hired auditors.
It also addressed claims that Muyeez, another performer, supposedly signed a contract while still a child. The label clarified this by stating that his legal guardian signed the agreement and that it was properly witnessed.
