Rev. Fr. Dr. Angelo Chidi Unegbu, a Catholic priest stationed in Germany and Nigeria, contacts well-known singer Chidinma Ekile to provide documentation supporting her assertion that she was blind before having her sight restored by prayer.
Following her latest disclosure, the reverend used his Facebook page to make the plea and provide information on how the musician might get in touch with him.
He said that his team and he had issued a challenge to determine the veracity of people’s claims to have had their sight restored by praying.
He was curious as to how, when, whether she had actually been blind before, and where her sight had been restored.
The priest went on to say that since her mother had prayed for her sight to be restored, he would be looking into the matter.
He penned…
“MISS CHIDINMA EKILE”
To Ms. Chidinma Ekile, please I watched your video where you revealed to the world that you were born blind but that your mother’s prayer to God gave you sight later. Please grant us permission to speak with your mother, the hospital where you were born, its name and address, the doctor or doctors who verified your blindness after birth, and the reason behind it in order to persuade the skeptics. Additionally, we would like to know if, after gaining your sight, you visited a doctor or doctors who confirmed you were blind. If so, might we get to know them as well? When we have the necessary information, our medical experts will begin the investigation. Kindly get in touch with me at cangelo123@yahoo.com.
Regards:
Dr. Angelo Chidi Unegbu, Rev. Fr.
I work as a Catholic priest in Germany. My name is Fada Angelo Chidi Unegbu on Facebook. I’m intrigued in your case because we issued a challenge last year to find any blind person who has ever been given sight by a man or woman of God through prayer or physical touch, but nobody responded. Even if your mother prayed in your particular situation, the investigations will still serve to fairly dispel some of the false claims made by some of our men and women of God in Nigeria regarding their miraculous ability to restore sight to the blind.
Please assist in spreading the word about this message till Ms. Chidimma sees it
