Renowned skit creator Brain Jotter boldly shares his choice to abandon the concept of employing a transvestite theme in his sketches.

The creator of the sketch, Chukwuebuka Emmanuel Amuzie, acknowledged that he had previously crossdressed as Madam Ogadi before deciding to adopt a different persona.

During a recent interview on Channels TV’s Rubbin’ Minds with Ebuka Obi-Uchendu, Brain Jotter said that he stopped crossdressing because, unless done extraordinarily well, it is not a sustainable method.

He claimed that in order to be done well, crossdressing calls for a great degree of talent and commitment.

According to him;

“My friend is suggesting that I start creating stuff in the role of a transvestite. I’ve tried it before, therefore I’m not interested.

“I used to create stuff in a church using the character Madam Ogadi, and the crowd would always cheer me on. It thus entered my thoughts and nearly became a specialty. However, I soon realized that I cannot continue to dress like a cross-dresser. Simply said, I don’t think the proposal is viable. Okay, so once or twice is okay for some people, but you’re not a woman. However, you are doing it quite well.

“You cannot have a beard and wear clothes meant for women.”
