As he celebrates ten years on stage, Adekunle Gold advises, “Start small.”

Nigerian artist Adekunle Kosoko, also referred to as AG baby or Adekunle Gold, has been celebrating his tenth year in the business.

Adekunle Gold characterized his journey as one of hard work, progress, and trust in a statement released on Thursday.

He encouraged young people to pursue their goals no matter where they are or what they had.

He revealed that when he made the decision to pursue a career in music, he was at his lowest moment in life, but that decision improved his life.

He said, “10 years!
A journey of faith, growth, and hard work.

In 2014, I wrote Sade at one of my lowest moments. I had just lost my job, and life felt uncertain. But I made a choice to give music everything I had.

That choice changed my life.

If you have a dream, believe in it. Work for it. Start small, start scared, but just start.

Don’t let fear stop you. Keep growing, keep trying, and keep believing.

Your journey is yours to own.
Do it afraid, and do it with all your heart.

Thank you BFF for your unwavering love for me.

All my love.”
