Angel Smith, a well-known reality celebrity, argues on behalf of married women who object to their husbands’ female acquaintances addressing him by name.
During a debate on the X platform on proper titles for friends’ married husbands, some suggested calling them “Sir” or using a more polite name. Angel thought this was ridiculous.
She argued that spouses should be addressed by their given names and stressed the importance of giving more important issues top priority, particularly in light of the nation’s current economic difficulties.
Angel Smith went on to say that she would rather her friends call her husband by the name he was known by prior to their marriage.
“As my buddy, if you call my spouse Wallahi, I’ll smack you first, and then we’ll fight (actual fight o) and unfriend each other🤝,” X user said.
“Some of you women get married and turn mad,” Angel retorted.Mrs.” is now who you are. What do I call the husband of my friend? Sir? or your uncle? If I let you and him get light. Maybe we should refer to him as the conqueror.
“Will take into mind the cultural distinctions between the genz and millennials, boomers, etc., cause I’m not calling my friend’s hubby papa anything other than as a joke,” she said in another post.
