According to reports, Adanma Luke, the producer of the film in which the late actor Junior Pope and four other people sadly perished in the Anam River, has turned himself in to the police.
The command spokesperson, SP Tochukwu Ikenga, claims that on Thursday, April 11, Adanma Luke showed up at the police and gave a statement on the regrettable event.
SP Tochukwu Ikenga verified Adanma’s voluntary surrender and statement writing in an exclusive interview with LIB.
In addition, the police spokesperson revealed that two boat operators who were allegedly involved in the incident have been arrested and are being held in police custody. It has also been revealed that other members of the movie’s cast and crew will be called in for questioning as part of the investigation process. SP Tochukwu Ikenga underscored that no effort will be spared in the pursuit of justice and accountability concerning the tragic incident.
