Actor Uche Maduagwu of Nollywood has revealed something fascinating about the new relationship between Afrobeat artists Davido and Wizkid.
According to Gistreel, the Afrobeat icons were seen in December 2023 at an Eveningtheday event. There, they were seen standing next to Zlatan and dancing to Davido’s “Champion Song.”
After years of animosity in the music business, Wizkid and Davido have finally agreed to call it quits and reconnect.
Davido was called a “Clout Chaser” by comedian Deeone on a recent episode of Trends and Bants, which he presented alongside actor Uche Maduagwu and actress Alexis.
Despite liking the musician, Uche Maduagwu said he agreed with Deeone’s assertion.
When asked why he believes Davido is chasing fame, the actor remembered a time when the Afrobeat icon spent time with Wizkid, a coworker.
He said that Davido spent an enormous, undisclosed amount merely to spend time with Wizkid.
Uche even dared Davido to publicly admit that, during their hangouts, he never gave Wizkid any money.
