A man has voiced his complaints about his friend who is based in the UK and who only gave 3,000 Naira toward their colleague’s wedding.
He discussed the situation and criticized the UK man for sending the money in the first place on his Twitter account, @Fattsoul.
When questioned, the friend from the UK insisted that what really important were the intentions and spirit behind the money.
According to him;
“An ex-colleague is receiving contributions for her wedding; someone in the UK sent N3,000.00.”
Three thousand naira!
I had to contact the group admin on WhatsApp if it was an error. “IT IS THE SPIRIT THAT MATTERS,” was the man’s reply.
It required a lot of self control to not swear at the person.
