A man advises Netizens to “stop collecting money from your parents once you turn 22.”

A man has issued a warning to everyone who uses the internet to cease requesting money from their parents as soon as they reach the age of 22.

He let followers know via his @_Nohem Twitter account, where he has faced criticism for his remarks.

This young man thinks it is inappropriate for adults who have reached the age of 22 to ask their parents for financial support.

According to him;

“You shouldn’t be receiving money from your parents at the age of 22.”

Many online users, however, strongly disagree with him and do not share his point of view.

Below are some responses.

“Enjoy it oh, if your parents have money,” @fazygodspower said.

@riky_”Poor man pikin don drop quote,” murmured Iam.

Why, @dideestars enquired? Did they not give birth to me? Are I not accountable to them? From where does this theory originate?

“Say for you,” wrote @rahliatsugar. The outside world is harsh, therefore by all means, use the opportunity to surround yourself with people that make money simple for you.

“I can’t recall the last time I asked my father for money. Sometimes, when I’m really poor, my mother gives me a boost, but you have to give that money back, even if you pass away,” @abcd_officialzw continued.

“I’m sorry that your parents don’t like you,” said @h1ghfriend.
